This New Year's celebration was a bit low key...and that's just how I like it. We didn't have any big plans besides lighting some fireworks, eating yummy appetizers and watching Ryan Seacrest's show and the ball drop. We did just that. I was lame and hardly took any pictures.

I made potato skins and jalapeno poppers from The Pioneer Woman's cookbook. As always...she did not disappoint. They were YUMMY!

This was from New Year's day. We saw The Tourist at the theater out at San Tan mall. Brock parked way at the back cause it was packed. Apparently he didn't park too well, because this was on my side of the truck...the side that was a tad bit over the white line. This is probably the nicest mean note ever...and it's written in pink!

    Oh the note. That's awesome. And I have yet to try the jalepeno thingys from her cookbook...I've had the ones from the website with just jalepenos, bacon, and cream cheese (yum), but the other ones look way better!

    How funny we did a family get together and made the jalepeno Popper's and potato skins. They are the bomb..
